It was good to receive your letter in a long long time,
Indeed it has been a long long time since we had the wisdom of your insights!
In your wisdom, you choose to yield what we thought was your rightful place,
In your gracious benevolence, you let others take the role and the call!
We are thankful to you for your heart that is golden, gentle and kind,
Yes, we thank you for showing us the the way and leading us all these years;
A friend in need and a friend indeed to people and places that are stranger to you,
A big Thank You for taking us thus far and helping us to look towards the stars!
We said, one day, we should recount the number of things we did together,
Yes, together with the many greats souls we had 'walked the talk';
Arole to Chuanga, Tamara to Nick, Muana to Andi and Vinod to Santosh,
Rich indeed were the experiences from the old Shalom days to the days of The 'Awkward' Project !
On hindsight today, there indeed were a lot of things we shared in common
One faith and one God and a common goal to serve through the profession we share,
Also the same kind of support system - for you from Barb and for me from Ching and both on their knees,
Continents apart and yet – we do share 'one world' as indeed the world is but 'just one'!
